Aircraft Work Stands are available for a variety of different helicopter and airplane models. The work stands are designed to fit the required work area while ensuring the safety of the worker. The use of the work stand has numerous benefits, including easy access to hard-to-reach areas, protecting the aircraft from damage, providing safety for employees, and providing mobility of work services. B-1 Extended Maintenance Platform Features:
- The platform moves from 3’ above the ground to 10’
- The platform is approximately 4’ x 11’
- Stairs are 48” wide
- The stand has 16” pneumatic tires that allow for easy transport from job to job
The Stabilizer jacks are located at the back of the stand to hold it in place
- Handrails are 42” tall with a mid-rail at 21” and an 8” toe kick
- All handrails on stairs and platform are removable and can be stored on the base of the stand
- Platform capacity is 500 lbs. It comes with a tow bar that can be hooked easily to a tug, forklift, or truck
- The platform is raised with a contained hydraulic system that is manually operated. (We do offer an air-over-hydraulic option for an additional cost)
- The hydraulic cylinder has a safety locking pin in case of a hydraulic failure
- The hydraulic system has restrictors in case of pressure failure
- Platform and stair steps have a non-slip grip strut
- Stand and handrails can be powder coated in any color
- Stand weight is approximately 1,700 lbs
